Online Scavenger Hunt Results #1-4
Today we did the online scavenger hunt in class. A couple of questions were hard to find, but overall it was not very difficult to do so. First I created a itinerary for the Disney Aulani Resort for kids and 3 aduts; the overall price was pretty high. The price averaged out to close to $19,000. Next the book "Screenplay," the Segway Human Transporter, and the Irobot Scooba Robot total price came close to $5500 on Amazon. Then I found the Web Characterization URL Address, along with Professor Fry's paper submission link. Finally I found Tacoma Chickadees favorite musicians, three of them are Neko Case, White Stripes, and Beck. Overall, this scavenger hunt was fun and not to difficult. My group used some strategy by breaking up the questions into 3 and each of us answering certain questions. Then we put all of our answers together into one document. Everything went smoothly and overall pretty well. The toughest thing for me was looking for Tacoma Chickadees, considering I had no ideal where to start my research. My first thought was that Tacoma Chickadees was a music band or something but turns out it is actually a blogger name. So that was the trickiest thing.

HTML Madness
This was my very first HTML page I have ever done. Before doing so, I thought of creating a HTML webpage as a major headache. But, after doing so has really proved to me that it is simple to do; consist of easy to do instructions. However, I'm sure this assignment was just for beginners and their is much more to HTML.

Email vs. Postal Mail
Email and postal mail are highly used ways of communication for both personal and business use. In this blog I will compare and contrast both ways of communication. Email is a much cheaper form of communication than postal mail. Email is free for the user and practically free for the email provider. However, postal service requires stamps and/or is priced by the package weight. Email is a much faster form of communication than postal mail. Once the "send" button is clicked in an email, it is sent almost instantly to the inserted address. Whereas, postal mail is the complete opposite, mail takes at least 3-7 business days depending on where it is being sent to and from. My primary method is email, just because of the simplicity of it. Overall, even though there are similarities and differences between the two they are both great ways of communication.

Class Expectations
I am a criminal justice major, taking this course because it sounded interesting. This is my first computer course here at UWT, so I don't really know what to expect. You can say i'm just along for the ride. However, after being here for the first few day and got a glimpse of how this quarter is going to be. I would expect to learn more about the different types of digital communication that are predominantly used today.
